A Vision of Heaven
1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
Holy, Holy, Holy
Verse 2
Holy, holy, holy! all the saints adore thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea. Cherubim and seraphim, falling down before thee, Who was and is and evermore shall be.
Revelation 4:8-11
ESV
And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,
"Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"
And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
"Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created."
Is He Worthy
Is all creation groaning? (It is) Is a new creation coming? (It is) Is the glory of the Lord to be the light within our midst? (It is) Is it good that we remind ourselves of this? (It is)
Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole? Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll? The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave He is David's root and the Lamb who died to ransom the slave
Is He worthy? Is He worthy Of all blessing and honor and glory? Is He worthy of this? He is
Does the Father truly love us? (He does) Does the Spirit move among us? (He does) And does Jesus, our Messiah, hold forever those He loves? (He does) Does our God intend to dwell again with us? (He does)
Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole? Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll? The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave He is David's root and the Lamb who died to ransom the slave
From every people and tribe Every nation and tongue He has made us a kingdom and priests to God To reign with the Son
Is He worthy? Is He worthy Of all blessing and honor and glory? Is He worthy? Is He worthy? Is He worthy of this? He is! Is He worthy? Is He worthy? He is! He is!
Revelation 5:8-14
ESV
And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying,
"Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth."
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice,
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!"
And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"
And the four living creatures said, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.
Revelation Song
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Holy, holy is He Sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Holy, holy is He We sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You
Clothed in rainbows of living color Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder Blessing and honor, strength and glory and power be To You the only wise King
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You (I will adore You, oh)
Filled with wonder, awestruck wonder At the mention of Your Name Jesus, Your Name is power, breath and living water Such a marvelous mystery, oh You're worthy, mystery You are worthy
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You
I will adore You
Holy, Holy, Holy
Verse 3
Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide thee, Though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see, Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee, Perfect in pow'r, in love, and purity.
While I'm Waiting
1 Peter 1:3-9
ESV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Prayer & Reflection
Christ is Mine Forevermore
Mine are days that God has numbered; I was made to walk with Him Yet I look for worldly treasure And forsake the King of kings But mine is hope in my Redeemer; Though I fall, His love is sure For Christ has paid for every failing; I am His forevermore
Mine are tears in times of sorrow Darkness not yet understood Through the valley I must travel Where I see no earthly good But mine is peace that flows from Heaven And the strength in times of need I know my pain will not be wasted; Christ completes his work in me
Mine are days here as a stranger Pilgrim on a narrow way One with Christ I will encounter Harm and hatred for His Name But mine is armor for this battle Strong enough to last the war And He has said He will deliver Safely to the golden shore And mine are keys to Zion city Where beside the King I'll walk For there my heart has found its treasure; Christ is mine forevermore
Come rejoice now, O my soul For His love is my reward Fear is gone and hope is sure: Christ is mine forevermore
Come rejoice now, O my soul For His love is my reward Fear is gone and hope is sure: Christ is mine forevermore
Come rejoice now, O my soul For His love is my reward Fear is gone and hope is sure: Christ is mine forevermore
And mine are keys to Zion city Where beside the King I'll walk For there my heart has found its treasure; Christ is mine forevermore Christ is mine forevermore Christ is mine forevermore
The Servant in Battle
Valley of Vision
O LORD, I bless thee that the issue of the battle between thyself and Satan has never been uncertain, and will end in victory. Calvary broke the dragon's head, and I contend with a vanquished foe, who with all his subtlety and strength has already been overcome. When I feel the serpent at my heel may I remember him whose heel was bruised, but who, when bruised, broke the devil's head. My soul with inward joy extols the mighty conqueror. Heal me of any wounds received in the great conflict; if I have gathered defilement, if my faith has suffered damage, if my hope is less than bright, if my love is not fervent, if some creature-comfort occupies my heart, if my soul sinks under pressure of the fight. O thou whose every promise is balm, every touch life, draw near to thy weary warrior, refresh me, that I may rise again to wage the strife, and never tire until my enemy is trodden down.
You've Already Won
There's peace that outlasts darkness Hope that's in the blood There's future grace that's mine today That Jesus Christ has won So I can face tomorrow For tomorrow's in Your hands All I need, you will provide Just like you always have
And I'm fighting a battle You've already won No matter what comes my way I will overcome Don't know what you're doing But I know what you've done And I'm fighting a battle You've already won
There's mercy in the waiting Manna for today And when it's gone, I know you're not You are my hope and stay When the sea is raging Your Spirit is my help He'll fix my eyes on Jesus Christ I'll say that it is well Oh, I know that it is well
I'm fighting a battle You've already won No matter what comes my way I will overcome Don't know what your doing But I know what you've done, thank you, God I'm fighting a battle You've already won
I know how the story ends We will be with you again, You're my Savior, my defense No more fear in life or death I know how the story ends, We will be with you again You're my Savior, my defense, No more fear in life or death I know how the story ends
I'm fighting a battle That You've already won No matter what comes my way I will overcome Don't know what your doing But I know what you've done, thank you, God I'm fighting a battle You've already won

2 Timothy 4:6-8
ESV
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day.
On That Day
On That Day
I believe in Christ, risen from the dead He now reigns victorious, His kingdom knows no end Through His resurrection death has lost its hold I know on that final day, I'll rise as Jesus rose
On that day, we will see You shining brighter than the sun On that day, we will know You as we lift our voice as one Till that day, we will praise You for Your never-ending grace And we will keep on singing on that glorious day
What a blessed hope, though now tired and worn We will spend eternity around our Saviour's throne Though we grieve our losses, we grieve not in vain For we know our crown of glory waits beyond the grave
On that day, we will see You shining brighter than the sun On that day, we will know You as we lift our voice as one Till that day, we will praise You for Your never-ending grace And we will keep on singing on that glorious day
Hallelujah, what a day it will be For at home with You, my joy is complete As I run into Your arms open wide, I will see My Father who is waiting for me Hallelujah, what a day it will be For at home with You, my joy is complete As I run into Your arms open wide, I will see My Father who is waiting for me My Father who is waiting for me
On that day, we will see You shining brighter than the sun On that day, we will know You as we lift our voice as one Till that day, we will praise You for Your never-ending grace And we will keep on singing on that glorious day On that day, we will see You shining brighter than the sun On that day, we will know You as we lift our voice as one Till that day, we will praise You for Your never-ending grace And we will keep on singing on that glorious day And we will keep on singing on that glorious day
Revelation 19:4-8
ESV
And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!" And from the throne came a voice saying,
"Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great."
Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
"Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure"
One Day (When We All Get to Heaven)
One day You'll make everything new, Jesus One day You will bind every wound The former things shall all pass away No more tears
One day You'll make sense of it all, Jesus One day every question resolved Every anxious thought left behind No more fear
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory
One day we will see face to face, Jesus Is there a greater vision of grace And in a moment, we shall be changed On that day
And one day we'll be free, free indeed, Jesus One day all this struggle will cease And we will see Your glory revealed On that day
And when we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory Yes, when we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be And when we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory
Yes, one day we will see face to face, Jesus Is there a greater vision of grace? And in a moment, we shall be changed Yes, in a moment, we shall be changed In a moment, we shall be changed On that day
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We'll sing and shout the victory We'll sing and shout the victory
Revelation 22:1-5
ESV
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
Far Kingdom
Reading
There is a far Kingdom A ways from here Beyond the storm and the sea There will be no need of darkness And none for tears When that far Kingdom I see
There's a river we will know Ever clear and ever full From the fount that overflows In the light of the King And when we drink it we will find That this joy, ever full, will ever rise And it'll rise on, in the Kingdom In the Kingdom
There is a far Kingdom On the other side of the glass And by a faint light we see Still there is more gladness Longing for the sight Than to behold or be filled, by anything
There's a river we will know Ever clear and ever full From the fount that overflows In the light of the King And when we drink it we will find That this joy, ever full, will ever rise And it'll rise on, in the Kingdom In the Kingdom
There is a far, far Kingdom There at the end of the sea Where they know my name And until that far, far Kingdom Calls me home Oh, my soul, I will wait
For the river we will know Ever clear and ever full From the fount that overflows In the light of the King And when we drink it we will find That this joy, ever full, will ever rise And it'll rise on, in the Kingdom In the Kingdom And it'll rise on, in the Kingdom In the Kingdom
How Great Thou Art
Verse 4
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow, in humble adoration And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
The Last Battle
But for them it was only the beginning of the real story. All their life in this world and all their adventures in Narnia had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on for ever: in which every chapter is better than the one before.
